Voted Fashion Product of 2009 and it’s easy to see why!

We took delivery of these fabulous Makki clutch bags last week and it has to be said it was love at first sight!

Made from eel skin they are so very soft, much softer than cow hide, although approximately three times stronger. The designs are hand made & hand dyed and the eel skin is a by product of the food industry so the eels are not farmed for the fashion industry which is good to know.

They look effortlessly chic and would be such an investment as I imagine they would last and last and never go out of style. Coming in several colours (we have 5 on the site with more due in this week) there’s a colour to suit every occasion.

We have two styles – the disco which has a magnetic closure and beautiful soft gold animal print lining and costs £105 and the fantasy which is available in brown and antique white – these also have a detachable chain and cost £115.

Already the black and white one is proving very popular, it looks stunning with a plain black outfit – so very chic. Later this week we will have a teal, grey and chocolate disco to add to the collection.
